Meet Livia Lindenbauer, Austrian delegation

Hello!
My name is Livia Lindenbauer, I'm sixteen years old and I'm turning 17 on July 9.
In my free time I love to travel (last year for example I did an exchange semester in Montreal, Canada). I also like to do sports, to play the cello (I play in a band and an orchestra) and to hang out with my friends or my younger brother Oskar who is 14 years old.
I participate at the Peace Camp because I would like to hear opinions of other people, especially of people from different countries, experiencing things under different conditions which will make me able to look at things from another perspective. I not only want to get to know but also experience other points of view, to empathize which others and to exchange my opinion with their`s. I'd love to contribute to the project by discussing things: Of course I have my own opinion, but I am very opened and interested in the other's, as I know that there is always more than just one perspective to look at things. I consider myself a social and active person and usually I do very well in group projects and I am looking forward to cooperate and to collaborate with other people. I am really glad to get the chance to participate at this great project and I can`t wait to dedicate my time and work to it.
With the best of regards,
Lindenbauer Livia

Meet Ines Lindenberger, Austrian delegation

Hi, my name is Ines and I’m sixteen years old. I attend school in Vienna but live on the weekends and holidays in a village in the countryside. I would describe myself as social, reliable, open-minded and optimistic. My hobbies are hanging out with my friends and travelling.
I want participate at peace camp, because I want to take that unique opportunity to get to know more about others opinions, exchange different points of view with people from other cultures and nations and understand them. I think I can contribute to peace camp an open mind and patience.
I hope I can take home from peace camp some new impressions, different viewpoints and more understanding.

Meet Pia Thiery, Austrian delegation

Hello :-)
My name is Pia and I’m 16 years old.
Currently I am attending the “Akademisches Gymnasium” in Vienna. I am a native German speaker but I learn English, French and Latin.
I live in the city center very close to my school which is in walking distance from my home.
My mother is a family and children therapist, my father is a lawyer.
I have two brothers, one of 18 and other 11 years of age.
So basically I am what is commonly described a “sandwich child” which means I have the role of the middle child and the only daughter in the family. I have certain privileges but also do I have disadvantages. Because of my position at home, I have learned to argue for myself, especially when it comes to disputes with my elder brother :)
Because I have a younger brother I get along very good with little children. What I really like about children is that they have little prejudices and are very honest.
On account of my mother I know a lot about education and working with “difficult” children.
Because of my dad’s profession I learn how to defend myself verbally. Although I haven´t managed up until now to win an argument against him hahah.
All the people around me know that I´m a very organized and assertive person. My friends and family describe me as reliable, very open, well structured, impatient, a little too ambitious, thirsty for knowledge, generous and true to myself.
The reason why I want to join peace camp is because I want to hear about changing movements at first hand. I am very interested in our permanent changing world. I want to open up to new perspectives, meet new people, understand other cultures and listen to their stories.
I will attribute an open mindedness, creativity and an open ear and deeper understand for everybody.
